Spicy Pork inside a Biscuit

Pork Basil Fill

Something I just kind of invented in the kitchen the other day. I’m not going to tell you what’s in it–OK, i will anyway and if your interested you can try it, I won’t mind. I really enjoy pork with basil (Pad Ga-prao), which is probably one of the most common dishes in Thailand–consisting of Pork, Basil, garlic, onion (shallots), and chili pepper. I’ve seen it with string beans (cut very small), and you usually drop a fried egg on top, which makes it taste even better. It’s seasoned with fish sauce, soy sauce, and oyster sauce and its incredibly easy to make. I’m not Thai but my wife (who is) says my version is pretty damn good. So, I Americanized it by cooking it inside a biscuit, because I got a bit of a biscuit thing going on these day (don’t ask). Anyway, seemed to work!
